REVIEWS of BELLA VITA ...
“We had the good fortune to run into Chef Dave Waide, at the Texas Arts & Crafts Fair in Kerrville last Monday. He invited us to visit his restaurant after we finished the show that evening. We were hoping to find someplace to relax and unwind, so we took him up on his offer. Boy, were we glad we did!
The atmosphere was romantic...the service was superb...the food was out of this world! Words can't describe how awesome our entrees were. Next time you're passing through, or visiting Kerrville, TX...Bella Vita is a must stop! Tell Chef Dave, Cindy & Bruce sent you! This is definately going to be one of our culinary stops, on the way to Terlingua, this year.”

October 2009- "Bella Vita - Not just another red-sauce joint, this cozy, country-style Italian restaurant from the folks at Billy Gene's Restaurant boasts a modest well-considered menu. Antipasti and house made soups are seasonal and tasty, and pastas arrive judiciously sauced and properly al dente (generous half-portions are available for most of the pastas). But the grill is where chef Dave Waide really shines, the Italian ribeye with a mushroom demi-glace was fork-tender, expertly cooked, and a bargain at $18.99. Depending on the season, enjoy the multilevel terrace overlooking the Guadalupe or the stone fireplace inside."
"I was enjoying my lasagna so much that I didn't want to try my wife's chicken marsala, but she said it was excellent and that the half portion she ordered was just the perfect amount."
